This has got to be one of the most inspirational films I've seen for a long time. Originally shown on the BBC in 2009, it investigates how farming could adapt to cope with no longer being able to depend on fossil fuels.
The film opens with a good breakdown of exactly how farming is dependent on fossil fuels and then shows footage of a great range of permaculture, forest gardening and organic farming alternatives. Good stuff!
